بر اساس همکاری های دو جانبه دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد و دانشگاه FHJ اتریش برای طرح تبادل دانشجو، بورسیه Ernst Mach Grant دانشگاه FHJ اتریش برای مدت 5 الی 10 ماه ( یک یا دو ترم)، دانشجویان دوره کارشناسی یا کارشناسی ارشد می باشد (ظرفیت پذیرش در این بورسیه حداکثر 2 تا 3 نفر می باشد) ماهیانه 1050 یورو به دانشجو پرداخت می شود که هزینه های تحصیل و زندگی را پوشش خواهد داد.
شروع دوره : از سال 2022 خواهد بود.
ضروری است دانشجو ابتدا لیست دروسی که قرار است در دانشگاه FHJ در این 5 ماه گذرانده شود را مشخص نماید برای اطلاع از لیست دروس می بایست به سایت دانشگاه FHJ مراجعه نماید.

مدارک مورد نیاز دانشجویان جاری برای استفاده از بورسیه:
1- مدارک معتبر تواناش زبان انگلیسی ( GRE, TOEFL, IELTS)
2- شناسنامه علمی (CV)
3- دو توصیه نامه از اساتید دوره تحصیل دانشجو
4- نقشه راه و برنامه ای که دانشجو مدنظر دارد در دوره زمانی حضور خود در دانشگاه مقابل به انجام رساند.
5- گذراندن حداقل 4 درس در دانشگاه FHJ مورد پذیرش گروه و دانشکده (با امضا و مهر) و در راستای برنامه پژوهشی دانشجو
6- تطبیق واحدهای دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد و دانشگاه مربوطه (لیست دروسی که قرار است در دانشگاه FHJ در یک یا دو ترم گذرانده شود با امضا و مهر گروه و ریاست دانشکده)
7- ارائه گزارش ماهانه پیشرفت تحصیلی به مدیریت همکاری های علمی بین المللی
8- همه مدارک به زبان انگلیسی در نامه ای که ریاست دانشکده دانشجو را معرفی خواهد نمود، به پیوست به خانم دکتر قندهاریون مسئول گروه توسعه همکاری های علمی بین المللی ارسال گردد.
Two letters of recommendation by university lecturers. For these letters of recommendation no specific form is required; they must contain the letterhead, date and signature of the person recommending the applicant and the stamp of the university / department and must not be older than six months at the time of application.
- Confirmation of the home university that the exams passed in Austria will be recognized by the home university (e.g. a learning agreement)
- Confirmation of acceptance as an exchange student or free mover from the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule).
- Scan of your passport (page with the name and photo).
- Scan of a current Transcript of Records.

Ernst Mach Grant for students from non-European countries
The Ernst Mach Grants are named after the famous Austrian physicist and philosopher Ernst Mach (1838-1916). It consists of two sub-programmes, the Ernst Mach Grant worldwide and the Ernst Mach Grant for studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences (“Fachhochschule”).
Both are financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education and Science (BMWF). Applications have to be submitted online and then a board of representatives of the BMWF and the OeAD awards the Ernst Mach Grants based on the results of the assessment procedure. The duration of the grants vary according to the regulations of the sub-programmes
Eligibility
The program is open to applicants:
- who study a master Programme or have successfully completed at least 4 semesters of studies within a bachelor/diploma Programme by the time of taking up the grant
- who are studying at a university in one of the eligible countries
- maximum age limit: 35 years (born on or after Oct. 1st, 1979),
- applicants must not have studied/pursued research/pursued academic work in Austria in the last six months before taking up the grant,
- proficiency in the language of instruction (German or English), particularly in the respective subject area, is a prerequisite.

Benefits
- Monthly grant rate 940 EUR
- Accident and health insurance, accommodation:
o If necessary, the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education & Research (OeAD-GmbH) will take out an accident and health insurance on behalf of the grant recipient.
o The OeAD-GmbH will endeavor to provide accommodation, monthly costs: 220 to 470 EUR. An administration fee of 18 EUR per month is payable to the OeAD-GmbH for arranging accommodation. The costs for insurance and accommodation have to be paid out of the grant by the recipient of the grant.
- Recipients of grants are exempted from paying tuition fees.
- Recipients of grants from non-European developing countries will also receive a travel costs subsidy of 730 EUR maximum.
